47 years ago, Nike released their first ever pair of trainers. Since then, they’ve gone on to create some of the most iconic footwear of all time.
Loved by athletes and streetwear-enthusiasts alike, Nike consistently set the benchmark for what lifestyle footwear should look like. How it should fit. How it should make you feel.
2019 was a fantastic year for Nike sneaker releases. And because of this, we’ve put together a run down of our top 9 drops from last year.
Popular releases included Nike’s collaboration with Swedish skater Oskar ‘Oski’ Rozenberg. The resulting Nike SB Dunk Highs come in an understated black and white colourway, with subtle red detailing, and a shark in the place of the iconic swoosh.
As well as this, there was the Nike SB Zoom Bruin, released as part of the Orange Label Ishod Wair Collection. These olive Nike trainers have a half suede, half mesh split upper, accentuated with orange details, which pop from their muted surroundings.
On a different vibe, with an almost chelsea boot look about them, Nike SB also dropped the Janoski Slip Mid. Presented in jade, these trainers feature a slick, smooth leather upper.
